Hey this is my 1st draft of my MPH story...its just the beginning...i noe it is vry cheesy n corny....but suck it up k..coz the bf(william) is going to die in the next scene...i will post it when i am done with it k...enjoy reading...n leave comments on how i can inprove n add something or cut off something...but dun b too harsh coz its just the 1st draft..tq...
TITLE: I FORGIVE YOU

I could hear a distant voice calling me, “Monica…Mony”. Suddenly my touch sense kicked in and I could feel someone touching me, or caressing me to be more accurate.
“Smack!”
“Ouch! Why did you do that for?” a soothing voice asked me. A sweet breath tickled my neck.
“Oh my God! I am so sorry babe. I was having a dream and…and I felt someone touching me, so I tried hitting the person in my dream , but ended up hitting you…my poor baby” I stuttered.
“It’s ok. I sure forgive you, but with one condition,” he said.
“What?” I asked innocently.
“You have to make it up to me by…by going to dinner with me tonight. I have a surprise for you.” he said excitedly, drawing my attention.
“Surprise? What surprise?” I asked while getting up from bed.
“If I tell you now, it won’t be a surprise anymore, now will it babe.” He said sarcastically.
“Okay. As long as it is a good one, it can wait. By the way, get away from me. I haven’t taken my shower or brushed my teeth. I don’t want to kill your good day with odour now.” I said loudly while covering my mouth with my hands.
“Your scent can never spoil my day. You have a distinct fruity smell that draws me closer to you.” He expressed romantically.
“Hahaha. Very funny. The fruity smell is the new Sunsilk shampoo that I am using recently, I saw it in an advertisement n I loved it, so I started using it. Looks like, for once I have made a good choice.”
“I have successfully drawn my handsome boyfriend closer to me with some nice shampoo. Speaking of closeness, how on earth did you come in?” I asked surprised.
“Well, you didn’t actually make a good choice with the door. The Thailand made doors are a piece of cake to break into.” He said proudly.
I quickly got up from bed and stretched my body and went into the toilet to take my shower leaving my boyfriend, William all alone.
“Monica…you are not building a toilet you know….what’s taking so long?” he asked sarcastically.
“It’s my shower and my apartment. I will stay in my toilet as long as I want.” I replied arrogantly.
“I hope you don’t take this long once we are married,” he murmured something that I couldn’t hear.
“What?” I asked loudly from the bathroom turning off the shower knob
“I said I hope you don’t get late for work.” He started loudly and finished softly as he saw me coming out.
“I will not be…..LATE!!!” I screamed as I saw the clock and it was already 8am.
“I missed my 7.50am bus to work.”
I work in a magazine called M! Vogue. It is a Malaysian version of Vogue magazine that was started in the year 2005 and I work as the personal assistant for the Editor in Chief, Miss Betty Wong who is also a friend to me.
As I was getting hysterical, my loving boyfriend whose presence slipped off my mind came closer to me and said, “I will drop you off on my way to my restaurant.”
I looked into his deep black eyes and I was calm and I felt secured and assured that everything will be alright. He looked right into my eyes and was quiet. My heart started to beat faster and faster. This hyperventilation happens every time when he is close to me, it assures me that I am still deeply in love with William like as if this is the first time I met him though it has been seven years since we have been together.
I couldn’t help myself but to enjoy the sight of his handsome face, his black spiked hair that compliments his pale skin, thick brows and long lashes, luscious lips that create a smile that can light up a room, big black eyes, a square face with strong cheekbone and a built silhouette. I really have no idea what is a handsome hunk like him doing with a girl like me.
Suddenly I got nudged from my inner thoughts when he put his hands on my waist. I smiled at him and put my hands on his shoulders. He started humming the Love Story theme music and we stated to dance. He held me closer to his chest and we were both now moving to the romantic music that was playing in our minds.
He moved back and looked at me and said, “I am very lucky to have you.”
He then moved his face slowly towards mine and slowly his lips touched mine. I closed my eyes and I kissed him back. After the short passionate kiss, William whispered into my ears, “Unless you are planning to go to work in that towel, I suggest you better go and change.”
I hit him on his chest playfully and quickly got dressed and we both went down to his car. William’s new Myvi comes in handy in times of emergency such as this. He bought is when his new restaurant, ‘Will’s Place’ started picking up more customers.
With heavy traffic, I reached M! Vogue exactly at 9, so thankfully William saved my day and my job. Office was very hectic because of the launch of the new section in the magazine that required many appointments to attend to.
After work I reached home at 7.30 after a rough ride in the Rapid KL bus. I quickly took a shower and got ready for my date with William today. I wore a red sleeveless dress and some jewellery that William bought me. As I finished combing my hair, someone knocked on my door. So I walked quickly and opened the door hoping that it is William. When I opened the door, it was William. He was wearing a black suit that made him look like a good looking doll. He smiled at me and handed me a red rose and asked, “So are we ready to go? I am feeling very hungry.”
I couldn’t help myself from staring at him. I then quickly turned around and said, “Yes. We are ready to go. Let me go get my purse.”
I took my purse and we left to. William refused to tell me where we were going but assured me that I would not be disappointed. I trusted him, so I just made small talks with him on the way to where ever we were going to.
Suddenly he parked his car across a park and told me, “Honey, we are here. I want you to do something for me.”
“I hope there aren’t any tricks involved here William!” I raised me voice.
“Have I ever hurt you in any way?” he asked softly. He was right. He always makes me happy and surprises me often and never made me regret being with him. So I agreed and said, “Okay baby. I trust you…but don’t exploit that trust.”
“Not a problem. I want you to put this on,” he said happily handing me a blind fold. He helped me to tie in around my eyes. He then led me out from the car and a road and stopped. He then slowly untied the blind fold and said open your eyes.
I opened my eyes quickly, impatiently wanting to know what the surprise was. When I opened my eyes, I saw the park decorated with light bulbs and a table that was placed in the middle of the surrounded lights and to perfect things, the moon light brightened the park revealing the beautiful greeneries of the trees around us. I also realised a group violinist playing some romantic songs and the food that was prepared on the table just made my mouth dry.
I turned to William and rested my head on his shoulder and said, “I have only seen such things in the movies. Thank you for doing this it’s really a great surprise.”
“Just wait. There is more on the way.” he said softly and gave soothing chuckle. He then led me to the table and held the chair for me as a gentleman would. And as I sat, he quickly ran to his seat across mine and asked, “You want to give thanks?”
“You go ahead.” I said softly.
“Okay, let us bow our heads. Our heavenly Father, thank you for giving us journey mercy to get to this place safely and on time and we thank you Lord for the food that is prepared before us, bless the hands that make them Lord. Let the rest of the night go as planned Lord with you blessings. We pray this in your name. Amen.” He finished his prayer and opened his napkin and placed in on his lap. I did the same thing. We then stared to dine under the sweet light of the moon and also the beautiful light bulbs that William must have worked hard to put up. We talked, laughed and ate happily.
After finishing out dinner, I told William, “Thank you for this magical night William. I had a great time and the live violinist is so great.”
William then suddenly held my hands and looked at me and said, “You look very beautiful almost as a nymph princess under the moon light.”
He started to get nervous. I could see it in his eyes. So I held his hands tightly and asked, “What’s wrong Will? You look bothered”
“Oh, it’s nothing. Just feeling bloated. You want to dance? Lets go and dance, it can help my digestion a little.” He asked politely.
“Okay, sure.” I chuckled.
He then took my hands and we moved further away from the table and started to waltz slowly to the romantic music by the violinists.
Dancing with William is something that I always look forward for. Being so close to him just makes me happy that I am in his grasp and it is just the two of us for that moment and everything else doesn’t’ matter anymore.
“Monica. These seven years with you have been the best years of my life. I learn to be a better man. I also learn how to love something as priceless as you. You were the light that guided me for this seven years.” He said softly, his voice going well with the background music that was now playing our music, The Love Story.
“Where are you going with this Will…” I asked but was cut off half way when he put his fingers on my lips.
